Thanks Shaun. They seem to be popular markings as they are in the current Revell and MisterCraft boxings at the moment.

Spitfires coming along very nicely. The decal thing was strange. I have never had that happen with Mr Color Super Clear. I have seen strange thing something like that with old matchbox decals where the paper that protects the decal has a waxy film on it but that would affect all the decals I would think.

Catching up with all of those Spitfires! You will have a super collection when they are all completed. The Mk V and PR are among the best looking examples IMHO.

Thank you. I'm not going to worry about it unless it happens again.

Thanks Stuart. I like the PR as well. I have a thing about single colour Spitfires and Hurricanes at the moment.

Cheers Ben. The Heller XVI was going to be the last one but I've managed to get a set of decals for the MK.IIa, so I'm going to replace an earlier version. Then the BBMF collection will be complete. The project was started in 2006.
Best wishes

The PR.XIX is finished. I'm quite pleased with the way it's turned out.

That's true dedication Andy! Slightly scary, but totally impressive! 8-)

The The PR.XIX looks amazing. That's actually the lone Spitfire kit in my stash.

Thanks Ben & Stuart.
The Spitfire XVI has been painted and decaled. it's also had a coat of Klear to seal the decals. I'll leave this for a day or two before progressing. This will give me a chance to have a really good tidy up in the shed.
