Re: Classic 1/72 scale classic Hurricane kit S-B anyone ?
The question now is- when do we start ?
Is everybody OK with Saturday May 16th or do we wish to wait until the end of May ? Any other dates ?
Also can everyone confirm that they are building before we decide.
I for one am in.

I am in. Frog or Matchbox MKII. Or maybe an Airfix MKI with a difference. (not the float plane one I am planning)
Am OK as to whenever.

Re: Classic 1/72 scale classic Hurricane kit S-B anyone ?
I'm still in, no rush to start, no rush to finish, go with the flow.
I have the Airfix 2067, 2082, and 2096 (ex- Heller 296). I may also do the Matchbox PK-11.
All will be loosely done as post-Watts, post-fabric Mk.I's.
That'l mostly clean out my "classic" Hurricanes and I can focus on the pile of Airfix n/t Mk.I's in my stash - like the BoF & BoB GB's coming soon.
If we balloon to 6 or more, then I will bow out, or wait my turn later.

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.

Apologies, and then there were four- and we are still well in range of a shared build .TeeELL wrote:S’cuse me, what about me????? :-)

We now number five, any more and we must move over to become a Group Build but due to current conditions this would be open ended and so we would not notice the change.

David, I'd love to join normally but am in the modelling doldrums right now so I'd rather not commit.

I have yet to confirm I have a relevant kit or order one, so I'll have to be possible, unless you need me to move aside so you can stay a SB?.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Re: Classic 1/72 scale classic Hurricane kit S-B anyone ?
Because group builds are currently open ended and will end when the GBL decides it's all over moving over to a GB wouldn't make any difference to the outcome, I would have to check with jRatz but we may even be able to run it as we would a Shared build with all builds on a common thread but with additional Completion and previously built threads, in other words pretend it is a shared build.

Just to follow up on our comms, if you want to keep it an SB I'm cool with it, either way.lancfan wrote:We now have six builders and will need to move over to a group Build.
