It has been great to meet and enjoy time with ‘the 3 amigos’ and, of course, Mr & Mrs iggie. (A fabulous spread lasr night with some really excellent Lincolnshire cheeses). We have gone our separate ways for the next couple of days, but will meet again at SMW.

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

It may be cold, but the Lincolnshire Alps remain snow-free.

Here’s Petworth, the officers’ mess for 617, and the BBMF:

Don’t know if you will see this before tomorrow (Friday) Dave. Newark Air Museum currently has a very disappointing, small selection of second hand kits.

Thanks, Tony. No problem. I have packed so much in the way of warm clothes that kit purchases are low on the agenda. This was never a shopping trip for me.

Cheers,

Great to see you again, and Mrs iggie was overjoyed with the flowers! 😁

A splendid evening - the cheese mmmmmm, I would have liked to have been able to buy some to take home. Maybe next time?
Thank you both as great hosts and Mrs iggie (Grommit) chose some really great cheeses but, boy, the drive home was a challenge - Lincolnshire seems to like roads with right angled bends! “What did the Romans do for us? - it would appear- give Lincolnshire a wide berth!!!)

Warm clothes David? Whatever for ;). Popped into The Petwood this evening and saw ‘your favourite waitress’. See you later tomorrow or Saturday.

I don't know if you will see this, David and I certainly didn't expect to be typing it, but Mrs W and myself have managed to book in at the International and so, all being well, I will see you on Saturday. Talk about booking at the last minute  :ha:

The guys are heading for Newark at present Shaun, but I'm following them in a minute (someone has to clear up after breakfast! ) so I'll let them know 👍
Best wishes
