My local model shop and a Huddersfield institution has closed after 37 years due to the death of the owner. I just happened to be their last ever customer! Thank you for enumerable tins of Humbrol.

It’s all tied up in probate which is why they couldn’t keep it going.

I went in there once, thirty years ago, while in Huddersfield for the Male Voice Choir championships.
Shame its gone.

What a pity, I hope at least some of the non-virtual shops will survive in the end!

A real shame. I looked in when I was in Huddersfield for the show a few years ago. :sad:
