I am planning to create a reference for RAF/RN ejection seats various. The idea being to provide a reference to the colours and ancillary equipment found on the various marks, along with the aircraft into which the seats fitted.
So this serves as a placeholder for now.

Sounds like a great idea Tony; I really look forward to this as I often agonise over whether I have the right seat and especially if the tape harnesses/belts I make are any thing like the originals and are positioned in the correct way. Daft really as you can often see very little of what I've done once the canopy is in place!

IIRC, I have a list of that type on my PC at home but I won't be back until end of the month.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Thanks guys. Whilst I will link to the appropriate section of the MB web site, my plan is to use photos of exhibits from museum visits, taking as many photos of the ‘bits and pieces’ that circumstances permit. The MB photos tend to show the seats from a particular angle but don’t necessarily show the things modellers need. (Ie vertical views etc).

Re: Martin Baker Ejection Seats
It is also worth remembering that, eg the Mk 10 seat was/is fitted to a variety of aircraft but that version fitted to the Tornado is quite different to that fitted to the Hawk. So I hope to be able to show the ‘sub sets’.

Good. That variety within a single Mk has ways caused me confusion.
