Unsafe site - blocked

Post by Ratch »

Sometimes when I click on a topic to open it, Norton blocks it and says the site is unsafe
UAMF is the only site this happens on. Any ideas why?

Is it the whole site or just one specific page. https://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=9 doesn't even exist, can you check the url it is blocking.

No idea why Norton would occasionally block it I would expect it to be all or nothing, it maybe some specific pages have been blacklisted for some reason.

When I originally started this thread I got the block message, but my last reply was OK.

It's been happening on and off for a few days now, not just today.

We run three devices here at Chez W using Norton as protection, all of which I've used at one time or another to access the forum and, up to press, I've never had an issue. I'll let you know if I do. As an aside, we used to use McAfee and for some reason or another it never liked Britmodeller, where I lurk from time to time and used to issue stark warnings of doom and gloom but never gave any issues with any other modelling forum. Norton has shown no such dislike of BM.
