OK, cheers, Al!

We now have more than enough for a GB so I'll add it to the calendar!

HI Paul,

Just a question before I go out and buy a kit for this - Are we sticking to 'Vampires' or will you allow the Venom/Sea Venom? No matter to me each way, I just wanted to know what not to buy (although I'm still leaning towards the SH kit).

Cheers

Stuart

If time is on my side, I could do a ‘what if’ within my build themes? I’ve an Airfix T11 sitting around.

Vampires only on this one Stuart - Venoms would make a great GB by themselves one day.

Hi Paul,

That's what I thought, but just wanted to check.

I may go for this one - in RAF markings.

Pencil me in, usual caveats.
It'll be the Airfix 1/48 F.3, OOB, in the kit "B" scheme, RCAF. Most likely a ceiling hanger, so very much of the internal, etc, will be left off - but the pilot used !

I am running shy of ceiling space in the model room.

One GB, one simple model, start/finish on time.

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.

Hmmm....if I get through my USAF 75th Anniv GB, I have a Tasman (Heller, I think) single-seater and plenty of AM decals.

Cheers,

All good choices!

I have a selection of 5 kits to choose from - as GBL, I will lead by example and build at least two of them.

I have a few but all 1/72 oldies - Frog and Heller (and Marivox ) single seaters, Aeroclub and Merlin (!) T11s plus a nice T11 conversion for the Heller by Uncle Ron in Australia and the old Airmodel conversion to make an NF10 from the Frog kit.

Spoiled for choice. Dare I try the Merlin one :-D. It actually looks one of their better kits.
