Progressing well, Tony.
Can I ask that you continue the build notes in this thread https://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=237 ... 93#p549893
so that we keep all the builds in one place?
Definitely a good idea to replace the stickers with decals. The colours on mine are way off.

Would ya like to learn to fly? Would ya? Would you like to see me try?

No apology necessary Tony.
I once built an exhibition stand at the NEC in the wrong hall.
Awkward.

Re: “Caricature” Kit Shared Build Sign-up, Chat, etc
We once built a scaffold to the front of Debenham's in Reading, which it turned out was in the wrong place... it was later used by an anti-fur group to break into the store and pour red paint over all the furs on display inside
Very awkward.
Very awkward.
Best wishes

I can imagine how awkward that might have been.
I did always enjoy doing shopfits at dear old Debs, though. A sad loss from the high street.

Is there a ‘previous builds’ option within a SB?

I don't see any reason why we couldn't post previous builds in this thread as part of a more general discussion, Tony.

Re: “Caricature” Kit Shared Build Sign-up, Chat, etc
And speaking of previous builds, here's my Meng Kids He-177 Bomber. A lovely little kit that really sparked my interest in this type of model.
I must admit to not being a huge fan of the vinyl stickers included with some of the Meng kits, although the vinyl itself and the quality of the printing are quite outstanding. I built the He-177 entirely OOB, with the minor exception of very basic paper harnesses for pilot and co-pilot. The camo was freehanded with the airbrush, and was actually a lot of fun to do.

Re: “Caricature” Kit Shared Build Sign-up, Chat, etc
My previous Eggplane and Egg4M of 29(F) Sqn.
Astonishingly, there were ‘after market parts’ which included the Spey exhausts plus an improved cockpit - neither of which were available when I build this.
