Reservists at the Feast of Corpus Christi

Post by Uhrmacher »

Today is a holliday in Bavarian areas where mostly catholics live. And there is every year a nice little party from the old reservists. No tanks or armoured vehicles, just good food and drinks and self made delicious cakes. The Unimog is a former Bundeswehr vehicle but is now private owned. The guys with the RC tanks were also there. The tanks have engine- and fireing sound and move back a bit when they shoot.

Those tanks look very good indeed, the Sturmpanzer especially so 👍
Best wishes

Thank you, I will the guys let it know. I have to critisice the cigarettes. To me they look like Marlboro which didn`t exist then. Lucky Strike and Chesterfield have been a currency on the black-market in Germany after the war. Many Germans followed a smoking soldier then and hoped they could pick up his trown away cigarette and many of the cruel conquerers stomped them out mercilessly. The cigarettes, not the Germans. ;-)
