I have a few guidelines that help me prepare for a Blitz.

1. A subject you have a strong interest in.

2. Good fitting kit with few parts count.

3. Simple paint scheme like a single color or maybe two.

Get all your references together now to study up before your build date. Decide if OTB or any mods that will be needed.
I have yellowed decals taped to the south facing window already.
All of this will get you pumped up to get going.

Don’t forget your blitz clock.

Optional: a playlist of favorite music to entertain and your
mascots.

Better get looking for an alternative, my stash of blitz-able kits is low.
It can be a surprisingly fast build. Make sure you have a quick option for woodgrain, a supply of EZ line or similar and you're away.

Actually, I have a couple Arma kits which solves the rigging issue :)

Fokker E.V?... ;-)

I'm probably going to opt for the Nieuport Triplane, but we'll see how I'm feeling closer to the day.

Count me in as always. ALDI are doing cheap Airfix starter sets at the moment and the wife wants to take a trip there tomorrow anyway so I will see what I can get. The Sherman would be first choice and very "Blitzable" I imagine, with the P40 Warhawk/Tomahawk in desert camo as 2nd choice.

Just got back but didn't find a single kit in ALDI; I even had the wife looking. I haven't got the guts to tell her that I've just realised it is LIDL who are actually doing the starter sets - Doh! I'll take a walk to LIDL by myself in the morning.
