1/300th scale Kriegsmarine Coastal Flotilla

If it goes on or under the wet stuff and doesn't fly, it's in here.

1/300th scale Kriegsmarine Coastal Flotilla

Post by Spaceowl »

Before they go on Ebay, I thought I would show that I'm not just aircraft:

Image

They are WW2 German Vessels, (top to bottom) M-Class Minesweeper, two S-38 S-Boots, two S-100 S-Boots. 1/300th scale Models by Warlord Games, part of their 'Cruel Seas' range. They were surprisingly fun to paint, to the extent that I might buy some more in future just for that.

Painted in Vallejo acrylics then given a thin wash in Citadel 'Nuln Oil' (black acrylic wash to the adults in the room) to bring up the detail, which is very nicely done. Pity the game wasn't very good :)
Overhead a rainbow appears...in black and white.

Current Projects:
Aircraft of VMA-542, USMC
Peru-Ecuador War 1995
THK 1939-2023
Polish Air Force 1939

Beautifully painted, despite the eye strain.
I wish, that I knew what was doing!

They look good.
All models are equal. Some models are more equal than others.

Incredible brushwork and you even painted the gunners. You´re the Jack of all trades, Spaceowl.

Those look excellent and you must have a better magnifying glass than me or bionic eyes, especially painting 1/300th figures!
