Hi all
Just checked Hannants for dark blue lettering for buccaneers aboad HMS Victorious. Only partly helpfull. Has anyone attempted applying code letters to a white/light colour? I have an airbrush.

Decal paper and a colour printer?CementNotGlue wrote: ↑October 15th, 2023, 7:03 pm Just checked Hannants for dark blue lettering for buccaneers aboad HMS Victorious. Only partly helpfull. Has anyone attempted applying code letters to a white/light colour? I have an airbrush.
Given the white or very light background, you shouldn't have to worry about the printed colours not being completely opaque and/or distorted by the background colour. Assuming you can find a compatible font for the numbers, this should be easy, but even if you have to draw the numbers yourself, it should be straightforward.

There is an RAF font available that is good for most RAF and RN jets.

Actually most RN serials were black but, yes, Buccaneers did have blue ones. You can, of course, print the font I mentioned in any colour you choose - not just black.CementNotGlue wrote: ↑October 17th, 2023, 9:59 pmRAF are black, RN Buccaneers of HMS Victorious are very dark blue.DavidWomby wrote: ↑October 16th, 2023, 5:40 pm There is an RAF font available that is good for most RAF and RN jets.
