Superb set of photos Ray, it must have taken you ages to take them all. The show looks excellent and the venue appears to be impressive (sunshine at a British model show is often in short demand). The models are outstanding and it is refreshing to see subjects from RAAF, RAN RNZAF and so on that don't get represented so often on these shores. I have always loved Boomerangs, Beaufighters and even Spitfire in Aussie colours, foliage green in particular. The carrier deck scenes are outstanding but then many of the other models are too. I'm sure the Matchbox display table will be of interest to our CBK contingent. Thanks very much for taking the time and sharing Ray.

They're are some a lot of excellent models there! The Corvette really caught my eye, but everything looks to have been done to a very high standard...
Best wishes

Re: ScaleACT23 - Canberra Oz
A friend and I attended on the Sunday morning. It was a lovely display of modelling skills, the MB display was awesome, and we both came away with some nice pick-ups from the Swap & Sell.
I have to say the entry in the "achievement unlocked" category that was labelled "first ever model kit built" made me green with envious anger, a determination to punch the person who built it in the face should I ever meet him, and an absolute wish to vote it "best in show" (except that I forgot to vote, d'oh). Oh my god.
The various Eagle Transporters and Hawks on show also reminded me that I've got a bunch of kits to catch up on purchasing ....
