How many hours does that need? Asking for a friend
Best wishes

It is a series 6 so that's 40 of your keenest Flying Hours Jim! I've already got 40 (all those tanks in the mystery tank bundle I bought recently) in my new passport but need 60 as I'm going for a series 9 next.
Here is the quandary with the Sea Fury...
... all three are GORGEOUS!

Always on the look out for affordable Gerry Anderson kits...this one is a bit of an odd ball targeting the younger market as the truck is 1/48 or maybe even 1/43 but the SPV is the tiny one that comes in a couple of other sets...about 1/72 I'd guess looking at the size of the side access doors...will have to be creative downscaling the truck unless I trip over a 1/48 SPV...
On the "up side" the working parts on the truck (folding down sides, cab and roof) not only work but are spring-loaded...

It was a new one on me too, David...this version of the SPV comes as a set with the Patrol Car; and the Maximum Security Vehicle and Angel Interceptor (come in another set - all so far as I know in a smaller scale than the single kits.
I have the set with the SPV and Patrol Car but stumbled across this when looking for the larger scale SPV - which I did find and have winging its way down under at the moment...
Other boxings of the SPV and Secret Trailer look like this:

Been waiting for the FD2 for years and then had to wait a few weeks for the big H to get their shipment. The Meteor was a recent addition to my backorder list. I’d ignored the NF releases has I have a stash full of Matchbox kits and a Rareplanes vacform, but could resist the bee stripes and dayglo finish offered in this target tug release. The extra parts being 3D printed orange resin!

From an Evil bay vendor in Italy, but delivered from Germany (no idea what shenanigans went on here, but the postage was half the going rate from German dealers).
My in-laws won a Mini when they were on diplomatic posting in Bonn, so Katie has commissioned me to build their car.

I've had similar ordering from 'UK based' ebay sellers, with the item turning up from all over Europe, but for less than european sellers selling the same thingAndrewR wrote: ↑February 7th, 2024, 9:22 pm From an Evil bay vendor in Italy, but delivered from Germany (no idea what shenanigans went on here, but the postage was half the going rate from German dealers).

As for the Mini, well, as the saying has it; you can never have too many
Best wishes

Wasn’t expecting to find anything at the Leeds show but these were under the table bargains at £20 and £15 respectively both kits I’d been looking out for at SMW. Neither are my usual fare but the F-14 is an itch I wanted to scratch after doing the MB one and the Quad is something I wanted as a kid.

I merely point out that for probably the first time in living memory, James came away from a show with more than me, AND I didn’t find either of them for him… Enjoyable show, but the traders were somewhat limited, and none of them had paints, glue etc. The height of my ambition was a couple of cans of Metalcote spray, and I still left empty-handed…
Best,
M.

Try as I might I couldn’t find anything for Matt to spend money on, though I came close with a GWH Tomcat.

Great price on the Quad, James
I've been on the lookout for one of these for a few months now. Most seem to go for £50-60+ on e-bay, a bit too much for me. But I managed to bag this one for quite a bit less. I can't remember exactly when I built this before - it was first issued in 1965 - but I certainly did make one, so i shall relive my youth with it.

All models are equal. Some models are more equal than others.
