Also back on the bench after a couple of years hiatus is Airfix's Handley Page 0/400.
A piece of the wing disappeared at some point so a slab of plasticard has been substituted.

You've got a lot of cool projects going. I love the steam tractor. Im a huge fan of that kind of stuff.

I'm very interested to see the o/400 back on the bench. One of my favorite aircraft but not something I dare to ever try

That Fowler traction engine turned out really well, H. I've never built a biplane as large as the 0/400 either. Rigging that thing should be a real hoot

The Fowler looks good - I too can remember seeing those at fairs.

The 0/400 has its moments - my advice is not to follow the instructions and assemble the outer wings as separate units as the fit is not good.

I remember building the 0/400 a few years back, and I assembled the wings by using the upper surfaces of the lower wing, and the lower surfaces of the upper wing. This allows the rigging to be completed, and then covered by the remaining wing parts... if that makes any sense at all, and is not teaching you to suck eggs!
Best wishes

I do like that Fowler! 8-)

The 0/400 will be interesting. It's one I've never go going on - the fuselage was horribly warped in the one I got.
The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.

Ta for the tips on the 0/400.
Progress on the Pembroke. I made some seats for the backend, a bit rough and ready but who's going to see the inside when it's done.
The roof is painted Hu41 light grey, I'll do the wall hu65 blue/grey later.
