More lumps and bumps added. Feeling pretty good about adding enough weight to keep it in its skids.

Neat! You did a really good job lining up the two halves. I remember building this kit and using waaaay more putty than you have on there. It is great to see this kit go together all neat and tidy like.

Thanks Ralph. Lots of fiddling but so far the only filler needed was the notch between the exhaust. Last night I mounted the sighting sensors on the nose. More bits today and then off the the paint hanger.

Oh, the test fit of the canopy is promising.

Test fitting the main and tail rotor checking for alignment. All will be ok. Tried to duplicate the effects of the “disco light” by painting the interior of the clear piece gold and then the exterior segments with Tamiya clears.

Finally decided on a load out. Painting has begun. Older Testors acrylic light and dark ghost greys for the time being.

I like your approach to painting the emergency light. I've never been able to get them to look right. Gold interior. Brilliant!

Paint applied. Leftover Testors Acrylic Light Ghost Grey topped with Dark Ghost Grey. In some lighting conditions they blend in. I suppose in real life that works as advertised.

At any rate a gloss coat will be applied yet tonight and hopefully decaling tomorrow.
