These are 3 figures from the vintage Tamiya set "German Machine Gun Troops". I made a small base from house insulation foam and a remaining piece from the Tamiya brick wall set.
A little improvement was made by using some 1/35 german infantry PE parts.

I like to carve old kits into something roughly aircraft/tank shaped...

Very nicely done and even more so because of the age of these figures.

Thank you!
For some reason I find working with old kits more satisfying than putting together the latest chinese 9999+ parts kit...

The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.

Same here, I bought one of those Trumpeter kits of a modernish Russian tank from the Indian army (because it was cheap) and when I took the lid off the box I broke out in a cold sweat looking at all the parts, I still have nightmares about the size of the PE sheetKellerModeller wrote: ↑February 21st, 2024, 9:29 pm Thank you!

Normally I really like the building phase, no airbrush cleaning, no compressor noise etc, but imagining the box as you described really did not start any "oh I need to have that!" feelings for me...David Silver wrote: ↑February 22nd, 2024, 9:20 am
