The 1/72 Airfix Piper Cherokee was released in 1973. This has been built from the 2000 release of the kit with the figures from Preiser and a small MDF base done as the edge of a dispersal at a regional airfiels somewhere in the UK.
I built this model as a practice in blending and polishing transparencies, and rescribing a kit as the original panel lines were raised. The whip and wire aerials are my own additions. Plenty of fun was had along the way too, just how it is supposed to be.
). The last picture almost looks like a real life photo, very good figure painting, especially the manˋs jeans (even though from fashion point of view today you might think he borrowed his girlfriend's jeans
