Thanks everyone. It will be finished by tomorrow and posted up in a thread.

TBH I'm not happy about the centre section struts and wish I had gone with regular struts but it's too late now so it is what it is.

The outboard struts I'm very happy with. I based it off the Taper Wing Camel:

As I have commented elsewhere - that is both original and very convincing. Excellent example of a conversion.

Thanks both. It was a fun conversion.

Currently the bench is taken up with a Blenheim and BP Defiant for the group build but I've become such a bipaholic that I needed to also work on a venetian blind on the side. I pulled out an Airfix Pup and I am just deciding on a scheme - I will probably need to buy a/m decals (rare for me!) for some Australian pups.

Good to read that you have not gone completely over to the dark side.

It's been action stations on group builds recently and I usually don't double up by reposting those in WW but now there is a brief (3 day  ) lull for a non-GB subject.

I am on our annual beachside vacation and while Caesar Octavia is loaded to the gunwales, there's still space for modelling kit....

Image

It's what I do to relax, especially in the evening, so it was coming with me.

I bought a London Bus kit from Frontline Hobbies on the way up for the Road & Track GB but I also brought a FWD Lorry and a Sopwith Strutter from home.

Image

I've had a bash at the FWD and got a decent amount done.

That Octavia has certainly swallowed a lot of gear, VV, estate cars can be very handy! Some interesting sounding builds coming up from you and I hope you have a great break and a happy new year. You wouldn't be needing your budgie smugglers on a beach side break over here this time of year, more like your thermal underwear :ha:

Enjoy your trip VV, it sounds like you'll have some interesting modelling to do! I'm amazed you managed to all get in that car!
