Re: Random Vandalism
That looks a well loaded car, both in volume and ingenuity
Best wishes
Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Re: Random Vandalism
Thanks for the well-wishes everyone. So far a good vacation and I am determined to net some mud crabs. No luck so far though...
A fair bit of modelling has happened though and the FWD is not far off completion. USB airbrush compressor setup worked a treat.
I may be Aussie but I will not be caught dead in budgies! Boardies all the way here. I haven't actually been in the water yet but my son got a nasty jellyfish sting all down his arm this morning so that isn't encouraging me to do a lot of swimming.

Re: Random Vandalism
Ouch! The sting sounds painful
Another good reason to avoid seawater swimming if you ask me; that and the freezing temperatures hete and the odd turd floating past...

Re: Random Vandalism
It got him pretty bad, yeah.
Then it was my turn today, mis-handling a mud crab....
However, I got the last laugh....
Anyway, it hasn't stopped me from finishing up the Lorry:
https://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=24981
That's 28 builds completed for the year
Tomorrow I will start on the B type bus for the RnT GB
Thanks! Apart from almost losing a finger today it's been great! This kit is a nice one. No fit issues for a change. I used zero filler.

Re: Random Vandalism
The FWD turned out very nicely, VV and 28 builds for the year is something else! I hope you are both recovering from your painful experiences with the local wildlife!

Tasty and the crab doesn't look bad either.

That FWD looks very nice, as does the crab. You showed him who's top of the food chain!

Wow! That has been a Big Year, Dave.
And a big finish, wrestling wildlife.

Where are you beaching? Anywhere near me?
Happy New Year!

Re: Random Vandalism
Thanks The jellyfish sting subsided rapidly and fortunately my finger seems on the mend.
I'm pretty pleased with how the lorry turned out, especially given the short build time.
True, although I respect him for going down fighting. A valiant effort.Clashcityrocker wrote: ↑December 30th, 2023, 10:45 pm That FWD looks very nice, as does the crab. You showed him who's top of the food chain!
Thanks, David and happy new year to you too! We are in Port Stephens so still a fair whack South of you. We're going from here to Forster after NYE for a few days.

Vicious mud crab. Glad it went alright. You can never have too many fingers.VickersVandal wrote: ↑December 30th, 2023, 12:37 pm

That finger looks nasty! That's why I haven't caught crabs since I was a nipper.
