Re: Sign-up and Chat
I wouldn't be much of a moderator if I didn't join in with my own build. Thus, it shall be a Spitfire Mk. XVIe by Heller and flown out of Biggin Hill by No.19 Sqdn in September 1946.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

I'll be building my Sword Seafire 17 for definite and might even have a go at an Aeroclub Seafire 17 to use up one of the other options on the decal sheet. Failing that then I have an Airfix Spitfire 22 to do , now who was it who said you can't have enough Spitfires......

Sounds very interesting, can't wait to see your build. I'm fond of anything Israeli.Molly-new wrote:I will be doing a Mk. 9 Spitfire in Israeli markings (once I get some). This will be the start of my Israeli Air Force collection.

Hi all,
I'm still learning my way around here but I'd like to jump in too if you have room for another Airfix F.22 (that'll be number 5?).
Regards

Re: Sign-up and Chat
Wasn't reading 1/72 scale for some reason. Selective vision. So....I have the Fujimi Mk XIX (RAF)which could have a low back conversion. Would that make it a Mk XVIII?
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale
Re: Sign-up and Chat
Hi,
I was looking for a simple build for March, so I may join with an Airfix Spit 22 or a Fujimi Spit XIV or later . . .
regards,
Martin
