Re: Splash's Seafire Mk XV
Have a go its easier than it looks, just get a good razor saw or a P cutter.Saxon wrote:Looking forward to seeing it done, not yet confident to slice and dice plastic myself
For an old kit the part fit is really good and will need little filler.

Re: Splash's Seafire Mk XV
Cunning plan, I have just picked up an Airfix Spitfire Mk IX to scavenge the Prop, canopy, seat, undercarriage and pilot. As the kit is for parts it will not affect my A:B ratio.
This will leave me with lots of Spitfire spares and as we all know you can’t have enough Spitfire spares (I might now have to get a recovery set just to use up the body and wings)

Re: Splash's Seafire Mk XV
The carpet monster has struck and eaten the lower section of my rudder
A quick rummage in the spares should find something suitable, its just a pain.

It's always a pain when someone nibbles your rudder!splash wrote:The carpet monster has struck and eaten the lower section of my rudder

Re: Splash's Seafire Mk XV
I have a theory that the carpet monster doesn't like paint, so I have given it a quick blow over to put the monster off.
