That looks really good. Great detailing. Now when are you going to put it in the bath with you? :)

Wow, can't believe I missed this!
Looks fantastic Darryl. Great build and fun reading. I really like how you did the flag. ;-)
I do like Revell kits. Except for one thing. Their idiotic mix 9% of this + 91% of that paint instructions.

Lovely build!

It's a lot easier if you realise that that means "1 part this to 10 parts that". Dunno why they have to put it in percentages -- maybe it's an EU directive or something equally crazy. :ha:

This looks really good. I got one from Peter Hall and have the plan to build it into a diorama with a 1'144th Liberator. I love the Coastal Command scheme for these aircraft and have odd photos of U-boats and Liberators. I'd better look for some little people to add to the conning tower.

Look for N gauge railway figures. 1//146th scale (odd isn't it!) but there are loads of them about so there are bound to be some that can be easily adapted with a lick of paint.

Very nice! I don't think anyone in their right mind would consider flying low and slow anywhere near that conning tower.

But I only understand percentages... :ha: :ha:

The problem with number like 9% and 91% is that I have to put 9 spoonfuls of the one color and 91 of the other to be sure they are correct and then I have about a pint of paint :???:

Unless you use a serving spoon, then you get a gallon.

On the bright side it will be a gallon of the correct colour :ha:
