Re: Under the tree...
Nice get! It does have a slightly thick nose and the wing joins need filler. Apart from that, It should be a great little kit.

Re: Under the tree...
Just did a seac camo thud, so it will be an aggressor, haven't decided which yet though.

This will give you a few colour schemes (as well as the right colours, if you're that way inclined)
http://www.jpsmodell.de/dc/main_e.htm;
Click on 'Camouflages', then 'Aircraft', then 'By Type' then 'F-5'. There are plenty to choose from.

Finally all the holiday turmoil ends and I can get back to work, the F5 is on the bench and ready to get built!
Going with the grey aggressor colors as I think its really cool, it edged out brazil by a hair but I just did a seac type camo and want something different.

Re: Under the tree...Hobbyboss F5E Tiger II 1/72
OK, some pics.
The kit is conventional and laid out on 2 sprues.
A nice set of decals are included, and the instructions are clear
A full color painting chart is provided for all versions
First some putty work and cutting to make the mutant pilot look acceptable
The cockpit is next, I used the kit provided decals and its painted dark blue gray
Some weight is added to the nose and the fuselage is joined and the wings added. The wing joints are poor and required some putty work.
