When I read that the old Whirlwind that I had built had replaced an earlier tooling I had wondered how bad it must have been that mine was the improvement. Well now I know! You seem to be getting the better of it at least.

Nothing clear on the instructions( they were printed on parchment and were in Aramaic so may have degraded a bit ) as to what goes where and only after a lot of research I think I got it right. If not I'll fill and reorganise. Exhausts drilled out on nacelles. Going for a dark earth and dark green top camou pattern with black underside on the port wing and Sky on the rest.

You should be flattered. I'd be overjoyed if I can get anywhere near your standard :)

Your wings airintakes, are better than mine. :)

Thanks Guilio.
Just tried posting some more pictures and I'm told they're too large. Just checked and they're well within the permitted size so is there a problem posting pictures atm?

Thanks Jim.
It seems ok now so must have been a glitch when I tried positing the pics.

Funny how port wings when inverted are starboard ones

The really early pressings had instructions on papyrus... :ha:

Nice choice of colour scheme, by the way :)

It's going to be fun unpicking this lot.

Sadly I heard something go crack when I was applying the white tac.

Hmm. Cold be worse.

Found that the crack was the starboard wing breaking loose.

This is going swell. You already fixed the wing? Looks good in pic. Great work. :)

Wing still to be fixed. No more work today as rugby beckons. Various other things are in need of attention but they can wait.
