Tanks for the memories ** Complete/Archived **

Post by Chris »

I haven't built any armor in about a year, anyone down for a tank build?

Any scale, any country, as long as its a tank!

I have never really done any serious armour modelling but it is something I want to get into.
So a group build would be the perfect chance to pick some of your metal head brains.

I have started to collect a few kits already, all in 1/35:
  • Tamiya M51 Super Sherman
    Trumpeter S-Tank
    Academy M551 Sheridan
I think the Sheridan might be the one to cut my teeth on.

So I would very much be up for an armour group build. Any thoughts on dates?

Toby, we did Kursk last year, I would rather not limit it to just one battle but any tank any time.

OT we need six firm interested before we can talk dates.

OK, we have six, now its time to vote on a start time.

There is a possibility for anytime from July through December (the site allows 4 GBs per month, so all are open) so what will it be?

I like November or December but any is good for me.

I could only do December. I've got way too much on for the rest of the year both on and off the bench.

Any chance of making it open to any AFV?
If so I'm in with an ASLAV-25 in 1/35. Go with the flow
