Re: Tanks for the memories ** On Calendar **
I'm still in, although having just failed miserably with a Revell 1/72 Tiger 1 ( ) I'm beginning to doubt my decision!
I have a 1/32 something by Dragon in the stash and may well dig that out; after all, it's bigger, what's to go wrong?

I may join in as well. I have a couple of 1/35 AFVs I'd like to get done some time.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

I have got a recording of the "Tank Overhaul" programme on the restoration of the Aberdeen Proving Ground Collection Elefant and may build my Fujimi kit as that tank or possibly I could backdate it to a Kursk Ferdinand?. Still thinking about what to do with the Matchbox/Revell Sherman Firefly (British DD perhaps?).

I have seen that one David. My favorite is the one on the M-18 Hellcat.

I'm still in for this one. At the moment I'm dithering between an Academy Stuart and a Tamiya Grant.
That means I'll probably build an AFV Club Centurion

I'm going to try and build one tank a week from four different countries. I will be taking two days off for my birthday and eating turkey

I haven't got that one Jeff, I think altogether I recorded Sherman, Comet, Chaffee, Panther, Elefant, Centurion and BMP-1.jssel wrote:I have seen that one David. My favorite is the one on the M-18 Hellcat.

The M18 was rebuilt in Utah USA and re-united with a driver. Good stuff.

An M18 is one of the 1/35 I was thinking of doing, the other in that scale is a Grant.
Edited to remove reference to Rommel's halftrack as it implied I intended to build it it in this GB, I was just saying its the only other large scale armour I have.
