Harold nears completion, but found out the hard way about CA glue and clear parts! Not too bad, just the bottom corners of rear window, remedied by using spare decals ( Warning sign from 1/144 Japanese Phantom and Squadron badge from 1/72 Vampire) as window stickers!

Ringo the Beetle, however needs a new front back and side window, plus a right hand wing indicator to replace the one that pinged off my tweezers into oblivion :frown:

The shop fronts and pavement are offcuts of mountboard from paintings that I've framed.

I like the colour of the Beetle. Reminds me of one a neighbour used to own.

Those shop fronts are excellent!

I'll have half a pound of mince and a couple of chops please :-D
Best wishes

You might find that meat a bit rubbery, Iggie. The big bits are made from cut up rubber mini earphones....waste not, want not!

To get into the seventies swing; Most Awesome Dude! :-D

Actually, I suspect that might be eighties, but that's about as hip 'n happenin' as I get :ha:

I remember that 1/24th Spit so fondly!
Best wishes

There are 12 actual Airfix kits in the window (and a load of other contemporary toys & games) who wants to play "Spot the kit"? although even I have trouble identifying the bagged Tiger kit......D'oh! that's one given away!
